Yes, I rolled out our new site design slightly earlier than expected. I was excited about finally getting it working, okay? There are still lots of links to add and background things to tweak but this will be the general look and feel.

What do you think?

The upgrade to WordPress 2.3 went swimmingly. We now have tags as well as categories. There’s also an unexpected bonus - the “pending review” post status, which suddenly makes the organisation for this site seem a whole lot easier.

You’ll see the new site design roll out very soon - if not this week then definitely next. Once it’s out there, I’ll write a post explaining exactly how this site will work for you. After that, it’s just putting up the food pictures and we’re live :)

Hey everyone,

It’s been a while since you heard anything new from us. A while back we told you that we were launching this autumn (or fall, depending on your personal preference). We’re still on track for that promise. Here’s what we’re up to at the moment

1. Our site design is almost done. I’m quite excited about this - it even looks good on my Nintendo Wii :) Once it’s ready I’ll roll it out, right here.
2. A new version of our content management system is due out at the end of September. Assuming it’s as exciting and feature-packed as it looks, (fingers crossed) we shall be using it.
3. Portion size info collection is still underway. There’s a heck of a lot of food out there! Gathering, gathering, gathering…
